What is remarkable about these early drawings is that they aren't scientifically accurate, they're idealizations that combine observation with imagination. Likewise, the Anthony Lent skull sculptures are works of art that possess a beautiful and subtle asymmetry.
A master jeweler formally trained as a goldsmith in Germany, Tony Lent has been handcrafting exceptional pieces since the 1960s. Known for his whimsical designs, he draws inspiration from a vast range of subjects, such as the late 19th century Art Nouveau movement, early animation, mythology and the natural world.
